Mina T. Gabor

Ms. Gabor served as Secretary of the Department of Tourism during the Ramos Administration. Prior to her appointment as Deparment Secretary, she was President of CITEM from January 20, 1983 to June 30, 1989 and Department Undersecretary of Tourism from July 1, 1989 to April 7, 1996.

Some of the tourism events and projects she initiated are the following: The Philippines Travel Mart, Christmas (Paskuhan) Village, Taal Heritage Village, Vigan Heritage Village, National Tourism Week, Malasag Eco-Village Cagayan, Kalakbay Awards and the establishment of the International Trade Center and Philippine Trade Training Center.

Ms. Gabor obtained her Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting from the University of Santo Tomas in 1958.
