Eugenia D. Apostol
A fearless publisher, Eugenia "Eggie" Apostol blazed new trails in Philippine Journalism during the dark martial law years. She tested the waters and pushed the limits of press freedom vis a vis tyranical rule. She gave birth to the Philippine Daily Inquirer which later became the nation's leading newspaper. She also published the Mr. & Ms. Magazine which became the mother of all her publications.
Ms. Apostol finished her Bachelor of Literature in Journalism (magna cum laude) in the University of Santo Tomas.
